I was actually pleasantly surprised by these. The length was perfect ( I do like shorter shorts though) but my butt was not showing. I think the back being shorts and the front being a skirt is a perfect idea. They were good material, and also had deep pockets. There is a zipper on the side of them. I love and recommend
