The skirt had some room so I could’ve sized down if I wanted. It’s not necessarily that the material is stretchy it’s more like the velour material didn’t let them sew true to size so it’s roomy a bit with some stretch. Still if a medium runs tight for you get a medium but if you find yourself with room in your size, size down.
